Map to Adult Recreation Center
Members of the North Wind Quilters Guild enjoy traveling together and going on day trips. We of course love anything to do with quilting like going to Pacific International Quilt Festival, local Quilt Shows, Shop Hops, etc. but we also enjoy getting together and doing activities outside of our normal Guild activities. Whether it be going to a museum,
Welcome, one and all, to the North Wind Quilters Guild Website. We hope you will enjoy looking over our website. Peruse the site at your leisure and feel free to email us at anytime. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Adult Recreation Center at 10:00 am, located at 1200 Civic Center Drive, Fairfield, CA. (see the map below)
We also have members who meet on the 1st Wednesday night of the month at A Quilted Heart located at
878 Alamo Drive, Vacaville, CA.
Hope to see you there.
Donna Payne, President
We also welcome other Guilds to come and visit us to display your Opportunity Quilt. Please contact Leonore Taguldin to schedule a date to display your Opportunity Quilt.
North Wind Quilters Guild Scholarship Program
The North Wind Quilters Guild Scholarship Program has been developed for the purpose of providing funds to support graduating high school seniors, college students and vocational students from Solano, Yolo and Napa counties who are pursuing a 2-4 year degree or vocational certificate in textiles, design or art.
Members of The North Wind Quilters Guild lovingly make and donate quilts to be given to different charities in our local and world wide communities. Some of these organizations use our quilts as auction items to raise funds for their organizations and some use them for their clients. Our members have generously made over 750 Community Service quilts in the last three years.
